You don’t need to go this far for me
In the end, we’re all the same
The idiots fallen in love,
The short summer romance
And there’s nothing special about me

Tell me why you would go to the ends of the earth
To stop the tears,
To recover a smile,
To pick me up when I have fallen.
What is it that you see in me?

There is nothing about me
That makes me stand out from the world
If pushed, I fall, cry, curse
Threatened, bullied, and jeered at.
I cannot avoid these

But when I hear your response,
For a moment,
I can see, hear, touch
And not be bound to my fate
All because you said
"I love you. For who you are.
For what you are.
And for the fighting spirit inside"

I was just listening to 'Broken Youth' and the first line popped up.
No, it's not a real life experience. XD I think it's somehow related to 'Kare Kano' though...

for not being a personal experience you did one hell of a job making the reader relate to it. i thought you had gone through in. i loved it. i've been reading much of the same poetry for a while now and you know how that gets annoying. but yours was different. i liked it. :) good good good work....times like WHOA! :wink:

Thank you~! Naw, I lead a boring life, and can only day-dream about situations like that. I tend to be very critical of my work anyway, but two comments, and I feel better about it!

no prob...it was good so it deserved an add...:) keep it up and when i get time i'll read some more...and i know all about the critizing your work cuz i'm horrible with that but if your other work is as good as this you don't need to critize :)
